ChRonically CouragousLY Chelsea

Hi, I’m Chelsea.
I was born with Cerebral Palsy, and life hasn’t been easy, but I’m still a wife and a mother and have tried to live life to the fullest despite some of the limitations that I deal with. But just for fun, after getting COVID-19 for the second time in May of 2022, I now have a second chronic condition, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome or POTS. When I stand or walk, my heart rate skyrockets because my nervous system doesn’t redistribute blood throughout my body like it should, which causes my heart to start beating extra fast to get more oxygen to my brain. So, this new wrinkle to my challenges has led me to write about what I deal with. This is part therapy for me and hopefully informative and helpful for those who read this blog. – Chelsea
